The company, launched in 1998 by Wayne and Marg Benedict, is now operated by their children, Stephen and Mary-Ann. Stephen is a Master Electrician, and Mary-Ann is an office professional who keeps everything running smoothly. We Sponsor Co-Operative Students & Hire Apprentices

We employ over 10 electricians and electrical apprentices during our peak times. Hiring many of our apprentices through Job Connect, we demonstrate our commitment to prior learning assessment by recognizing certificates, giving credit for previous work experience and providing advanced opportunities for new apprentices with varied training and educational experiences. We also sponsor co-operative educational placements for local high school students in Grey and Bruce Counties who are interested in learning more about a skilled electrical trades career close to home.

We believe in building a strong community, that’s why we regularly support local institutions like Roxy Theater in Owen Sound, Hockey Day in Canada, Owen Sound Minor Soccer, Summer folk, Canada Day celebrations at Kelso Park, Women’s Centre, Salmon Spectacular, Hockey Fest Owen Sound (Girls Hockey), and various local Golf Tournament charity events.
